 A summary of the spatiophylogenetic model results. a Shows the 254,886 honeyeater point occurrence records which have been coloured according to speciation rate (DR statistic), overlayed is the spatial mesh consisting of 877 vertices which was constructed over the point occurrence records and averaged across the spatial random fields of each occurrence record for each species. b Shows the mean predicted speciation rate extracted from the final spatiophylogenetic model. c Is a density plot of the marginals of the fixed effects in the model, with the mean and 95% credible intervals. Full model results are available in Additional file 2: Table S6. Predictor variables which were identified to have significant effects are highlighted in bold
