The signed average selection coefficient excluding beneficial mutations, $\bar{s_{d}}$ , was used to quantify robustness. Fitness and the percent of deleterious, neutral and beneficial mutations are shown for each organism. Numbers in parenthesis indicate the average magnitude of mutational effects. The genomic mutation rate (U) and the population size (N) under which each organism evolved in the preliminary experiment are also shown.
