Data were obtained from the low-coverage 1000 Genomes Project data and refer to CEU. θW (red) and π (blue) were calculated in 2 kb windows moving with a step of 150 bp. The two region we resequanced in TAP2 and BTNL2 are shown by the shaded boxes. The hatched region indicates the genomic portion occupied by HLA class II genes.
