Table 2 All linear mixed-effects models calculated for the coefficients of variation (CV) regarding chromaticity and colour patch size for both sexes. As random factors, families of father and mothers and the ID of each fish were included in each linear model. Significant interaction terms were further analysed using post-hoc test with the Bonferroni correction method (t1 = before, t2 = after). Significant results are printed in bold (p < 0.05)
