Relationship between elevation and speciation rates in the genera Corrosella and Pseudamnicola. A joint QuaSSE modeling of elevational evolution along the phylogeny and its influence on speciation revealed a decreasing speciation rate in Pseudamnicola with increasing elevation. We calculated the 95% highest posterior density (dashed lines) of speciation rates by Bayesian inference. Vertical ticks on the x-axis indicate elevation of extant species.
