  1. MCC trees from each of our six dating analyses were tested, pruning the taxa to either modern dasyuromorphians only (“Dasyuromorphia”) or to modern dasyurids only (“Dasyuridae”), and correcting for the incomplete sampling of dasyurid species. BAMM analyses were run for 10 million generations, sampling every 2000 generations, with the first 10% discarded as burn-in
