Ancestral state reconstructions across the set of 18,000 post burn-in BEAST trees for the Mellisugini based on parsimony in which species with migratory and sedentary populations (Selasphorus platycercus and Calothorax lucifer) were coded as polymorphic (a) or migratory (b), and estimation of ancestral states of migratory behavior carried out with the tree obtained from the Bayesian analysis under the ML criterion and the MK1 model using all samples (c).
