A condensed cladogram representing all the major groups of plants in which RLSB homologs have been identified. The phylogeny shows the major land plant groups in which RLSB gene family members were found. The Arabidopsis RLSB transcript was used as reference sequence in BLAST search for orthologs across all groups of plants. Sequences from different plant species were obtained and were aligned with the Arabidopsis RLSB protein. The aligned amino acid sequences were used to generate a phylogram rooted by Charophyta as described in materials and method
