Branches are colored by inferred local clock rates: red = fastest, blue = slowest, orange and green = intermediate, and each branch is labelled with the actual rate (substitutions site−1 Myr−1 × 104). Filled pointers show likely rate shifts (to right = upwards, to left = downwards); open pointers show possible alternatives. Clade labels with bars indicate subfamilies.
