Shown are Log transformed Bayes factors and locus specific FST from BAYESCAN. Vertical lines mark Log10(BF) of 1.5 (solid) and 2 (broken) corresponding to posterior probabilities of locus effects of 0.97 and 0.99, respectively. Loci with a posterior probability of 1 were ascribed a Log10(BF) of 5. Novel SNPs from this study, which were ascertained in a different set of individuals than used for the random set of markers, are labelled blue in a), b) and c). Loci identified as outliers in the global data set are labelled yellow in d). Monomorphic loci were removed in each simulation.
