Comparison of the threshold migration rate in stochastic vs deterministic models. In the work by Telschow et al. [28], the threshold migration rate was defined as the migration rate beyond which Wolbachia diversity is no longer maintained. In our haploid model, a threshold migration range was represented as the migration rate valueswhere W drops from 0.95 to 0.05. The true threshold migration rate was assumed to be included in that range of migration rate values. Other parameter values were fixed at the same values as Telschow et al., 2002 [28]: I A = 0.8, I B = 0.8, t = 0.99, sr = 0.5.
