JmjC proteins in the same subfamily have conserved regions extend from boundaries of JmjC domain, which are highlighted by dash line box. *: Human JMJD6 and KDM6B do not have additional domain besides JmjC domain. **: Arabidopsis PKDM7A has similar domain architecture to other PKDM7 proteins, but lacks the FYRN and FYRC domains. It is assigned to PKDM7 subfamily based on the phylogenetic tree shown in Fig. 7A.
