Group = experimental group, defined by the strain(s) of the mother and the father, see Table 1. N₀ (cops) and N₀ (lice) = initial numbers of copepodids and lice. n S = number of survivors at termination of CG = common-garden infection, and EB = emamectin benzoate trial, respectively. Tank distr % = between-tank distribution of individuals from the family at termination time, given as the minimum - maximum values from the four tanks. % S = number of surviving individuals as fractions of the initial numbers, in CG and EB, as described above.
