Nodes with dots indicate duplication events. The locations of phase 0 introns (|) and phase 1 introns ([) are based on their relative place on the protein alignment and are numbered from 1 to 8. The intron map is not to scale. Only nodes with bootstrap values superior to 75% are shown. Two TSA and two indole synthase sequences of A. thaliana and Arabidopsis lyrata are closely related but are non-Poaceae sequences. Sequences were named according to their closest homolog in maize and IGL numbers were arbitrarily attributed.
