Motifs are indicated by colored boxes: red, specific to TM-type; green, specific to both bacterial- and eukaryotic-type; and blue, common to all three types. N and C denote N and C terminus, respectively. Relative positions of these motifs are not drawn to scale. The predicted functions of each motif are also indicated.
