Discontinuous lines mark the branches of enormous high length (more than 0.75), which can correspond to pseudogenes or contaminated samples. The tree does not fit the common knowledge about the evolution in details; nevertheless it provides some useful information. For more accurate definition of GAPD evolution, syntenic analysis was also used.
