Blue hatchet/bars represent the multi-chambered state of ventral receptacle in sepsids and the orange hatchet/bars represent the bi-lobed state of ventral receptacle. The white bar represents the autapomorphic ventral receptacle of Orygma luctuosum. The green arrows/bars represent the separate origins of secondary internal subdivisions in the ventral receptacle of the Dicranosepsis and Sepsis groups.
